Click the plus sign on the top menu to add a new tab.

Upload the file that you want to turn into a dedicated tab to the Files tab.

From the files tab menu, find the file that you want to add as a tab and click on the ellipses (three dots) and select вЂњMake this a tab.вЂќ

There are 2 ways to do this, depending on your admin settings:

You can add Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PDF files as dedicated tabs. If youвЂ™d like to add more tabs to a channel or chat, simply click Add a tab at the top (the plus sign). In private chats, there are more default tabs, including Chat, Files, Organization, and Activity. Being able to use OneNote, outside of Teams, allows you to stay focused. Don't overlook this feature-we all know that trying to get work done with a team chat app open is a lot harder. You can add task lists, tag items, draw anything on your tablet, or record audio using the dictation feature.ДЄnd all of this works on multiple platforms, outside of Teams: you can download OneNote for your computer or phone or use the web version. There are way more formatting options, for one thing, and the ability to attach files. Organization is just the beginning here: OneNote offers many features that the basic Wiki doesn't. OneNote offers drawing, dictation, and so much more This is particularly true if you want to keep, say, meeting notes separate from more evergreen information-you can have a section for each, then break things down further using subpages. These are small features, sure, but in some contexts, the more ways you have to sort information the better.
